After studying his MCSE on Windows NT4.0, Wayne started his career in IT in 1999 with Enterprise Connection. He spent 6 years there, working his way up from technician to a “Centre of Excellence” consultant. During his time at Enterprise Connection he gained a wide range of experience supporting different Microsoft based infrastructures. In 2005 he started LAN Logix, an IT infrastructure and Managed Services business focused on providing high quality IT solutions to SME’s. Having had an interest in physical security for many years, he used his own house and business to implement and test security systems and solutions. In 2013, the hobby became a business with the opening of CABLE Logix. The same perfectionism which has seen LAN Logix become extremely successful results in every CABLE Logix installation being of the highest quality.

Louis started his career in 1991 as a Telkom technician, installing, maintaining and managing many aspects of the complex telecommunications infrastructure. After spending seven years there working his way up the ranks, he moved to CCI where he assumed the role of ‘Data and Telephone Division Supervisor’. In 2001 he moved to another large cabling and infrastructure provider, also in a supervisory role. In 2003 he was headhunted by a local entrepreneur to head up his data cabling business. In essence the General Manager as well as the technical lead for this business, Louis spent five years in this role, taking the company to new heights and winning many large contracts. Wishing to use his many years of experience to his own benefit, in 2009 Louis started Datastar Telecommunications. A long-time friend and colleague of the owner of LAN Logix (Wayne Exner), Datastar provided a host of services to LAN Logix and CABLE Logix for several years. In 2015, Datastar was acquired by LAN Logix, with Louis assuming the role of Technical Manager for the CABLE Logix division. Louis truly is a “guru” in the fields of security, connectivity and access control. He is also an expert metal fabricator.
